Argentina U20 national team starts training for U20 World Cup

The Argentina U20 national team have started training for the U20 World Cup.

Argentina will be hosting the U20 World Cup beginning on May 20 and coach Javier Mascherano already has his team training. Argentina have won the U20 World Cup six times and will look to make it seven when they kick off the tournament on May 20 against Uzbekistan.

Javier Mascherano’s team have been drawn with Uzbekistan, Guatemala and New Zealand. Mascherano was unable to count on several European based players when he announced his final team as they were not released for the tournament. Here is the squad which was named by Mascherano:
