Lautaro Martínez not called up for Argentina, will receive treatment

Lautaro Martínez has not been called up for the Argentina national team as he will receive treatment.

Martínez is not part of the list of 21 players which have been called up for the Argentina national team for the friendly matches against Australia and Indonesia. According to Olé, Lautaro will be receiving treatment on his ankle.

The Argentine scored in the semi finals for Inter to reach the Champions League final but he will be receiving treatment on his ankle after the final in order to be ready for next season. He played at the 2022 World Cup on pain killers and Scaloni has decided not to call him up to give him a rest.

Argentina play Australia on June 15 in Beijing and will play Indonesia on June 19 in Jakarta.

  1. Mbappe flopped 3 assists from Messi today. Messi would have easily had close to 30 assists if PSG players did not flop around him. Their defense is a joke. Without Messi, PSG would have prolly be 5th in Ligue 1. Hope Messi goes to a good club in EPL.

    • Messi receives significantly less passes at PSG (60% less) compared to Barca and Argentina and also due to the selfishness of Mbappe he gets very few chances to score and he still managed 20 goals and 20 goals for them. If Mbappe wouldn’t try to score all the goals himself and played more for the team , PSG could have progressed much further in the Champions league.

      • Why are you talking bullshits? Messi has the same number of touches in PSG than in Barca or in NT, its easy to check on fbref, just less in the dangerous zone.

        • Obviously, he needs the ball where he can make the difference! Especially the cutbacks and passbacks which he almost never receives at PSG! So don’t bring your bullshit stats again!! The number of goal scoring chances he gets is very low and you don’t need stats to see that!

  2. Ocampos shouldn’t way near in the nt , Facundo Buonanotte will be better option than him as he continues to play for Brighton in the epl

    • For me there are 2 players that don’t deserve to be called up:

      Ocampos
      Simeone

      For Ocampos better Buonanotte or even the likes of Velasco (Dallas)
      For Simeone better Icardi or Taty

      Everyone else is good.

      Not called up. Martinez, Dybala, Licha due to injury.

      Others are done in Scaloni’s eyes. Unless they move to a club where they play regularly. Foyth, I dunno why he is excluded.

      Also Lautaro Blanco project done. Nehuen/Senesi/LM Quarta losing to Balerdi.
