The Argentina U20 national team will play Nigeria in the Round of 16 at the U20 World Cup.
Argentina U20 will play a familiar foe at the Round of 16 as they now know their opponent. It was between Nigeria and Japan and the African country has finished their in their group and will play the hosts.
Javier Mascherano’s team will play Nigeria on Wednesday and if Argentina get the win, they will play the winner of Ecuador and South Korea. Here are all of the matches for the Round of 16:

I feel only USA and Brazil are facing weaker opponents in the round of sixteen. All other matches would be nail-biters. However, at U20 level it is not easy to comment on which team is weak or strong. Everything is defined on the pitch by which team commits the less amount of follies. These are young and raw talents, not yet harnessed, not yet with a tactical bend of mind, very eager to enjoy and entertain on solo merit. That’s the beauty of this cup.

Our boys won it 6 times, the most out of any team. Brazil won it 5 times and no one else comes even close.
Never wanted Nigeria at this stage. Mascherano would be tested badly in this game. Only pressing football and sticking to our teamgame can help us win. Otherwise Nigeria is a giant killer. Anyway, to be a champion team, one cannot be choosy. You have to be better than all others. So it would be a big tactical challenge for the coach, who is yet to show his mettle, however great has he been as a footballer.
It might turn out to be an easy won for Argentina. Remember before world cup Argentina lost Locelso, Gonzalez but who knew Enzo Fernandez and McAlister would be our savior?
Garnacho, Bounanonte and Nico Paz unfortunately we’re denied the chance to represent the nation by their club. However squad still has potential to reach semifinals/ finals or even win it.

Nigeria was impressive defensively in the qualifying process, conceding only twice, they also were very organized in their 1st two matches, however everything changed vs Brazil, they attacked with large numbers and left tons of space behind, very odd.
This is a tough game, I didn’t want to play them this early, I feel Argentine is growing and a weaker opponent would have been better at this stage, but if we win it will be a massive boost for the young men. Vamos 🇦🇷 🇦🇷 🇦🇷

As long as our squad stays disciplined in their respective positions then there should t be a problem this Wednesday. Nigeria are fast and strong, but they are also impatient, which has become a trend over the last 3 generations of this legendary football federation, the super eagles
