Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has spoken about Alejandro Garnacho and the new faces on the team.

Lionel Scaloni and his coaching staff will shortly begin flying out to Beijing for their two friendly matches later this month. Scaloni spoke to the media at the airport about the new players. Here is what he had to say:

“The idea is for Garnacho to play, to enjoy the minutes and to see how he does with his team mates.

“The expectation is to see these guys who are coming for the first time. Give them time, minutes. And that they gradually join those who were already there. In principle, the idea is that (Garnacho) comes and joins the team.

“We will analyze if he will play from the start or have minutes”.
