  1. I’m eager to see new era begin. The team can become an international juggernaut without Messi, Di Maria and Otamendi. RDP, Enzo, Mac, Palacios, Paredes, Lo Celso, Almada, Bounanotte. And then Redondo, Alcatraz and few others waiting in the wings, the midfield looks good for the next 10 years from now. The question is who’s going to be the new boss?? The leader of men player. It doesn’t have to be necessarily another left footed number 10. That 10 role is slowly becoming outdated anyways as teams play with different dynamics these days. Most play making is done by central midfielders.

  2. I don’t think there is any doubt that our best mid is Mac, Enzo and RDP and that is by a distance. I would give them a bit of rest and try and see Almada, Palacios and Celso. Same with Medina. No worries for now. All good.

  3. Scaloni will start with his Plan C against Indonesia; Rulli, Almada, Palacious, Garnacho, Balerdi, Ocampos, Gio Simeone will get the chance to play. Hopefully can watch Julian Alvarez, Enzo, De Paul, and Alexis Mac Allister play

  4. This guy Dybala missed out again as he isn’t fully fit once again! He will be just 32 next world cup , still has time to salvage his national team career and play a pivotal role in 2026!! He has the ability to play the role of both playmaker and forward like Messi for us in 2022. Just need to find a way to stay fit!!

    • I honestly and HOPE I’m wrong but Dybala’s biggest contribution to the NT has already occurred in the WC Pk shootout and don’t expect anything else.
I remember his 1st time playing for ARG in the 2018 WC qualifier Vs Uruguay and then getting ejected ………I guess that was the writing on the wall.
Dybala is made out of glass and I could never see him playing in 60% of the WC qualifiers if not less.
      He’s basically worse than KUN.

    • Dybala had a short but very important cameo, not only his penalty but an important clearance in our own box. As for his greater involvement, I think Scaloni is open to it in principle, a lot depends on Dybala’s fitness and availability. His fitness record is not great though…sadly

  5. I think Palacios and Almada should get a start together with Garnacho, and Medina. This is against Indonesia. Best chance to experiment.

  6. I think simioni needs to get more playing time in front. Scaloni wants a backup for lautaro. Similarly occampos nd locelso also needs to get some miuts as a backup for dmaria.
