Gerónimo Rulli could reportedly be out for up to three months with Ajax.

Rulli was substituted out injured for Ajax in their opening league match and it looks like he will be out for a few months. According to Florian Plettenberg, the goalkeeper will “probably be out for up to three months” due to a shoulder injury. The goalkeeper was being linked with a possibly move to FC Bayern.

The Argentina national team play their two first World Cup qualifying matches in September. Rulli was previously part of the team for the two friendly matches against Australia and Indonesia in June.

  1. No Liverpool player won possession more times (10), won more duels (7), or completed more take-ons (2) than Alexis Mac Allister against Chelsea.

He won possession in the final third more times than any other player on the pitch (3).

And he finished the game with a hug from his World Cup-winning teammate.

Enzo Fernández and Alexis Mac Allister will be two of the best midfielders in the league this season. 🫂
