González got both goals for Fiorentina in their 2-0 win vs. Rapid Vienna. With the score at 0-0, the ball fell to the 25 year old and he scored from close range to give them the 1-0 lead but draw Fiorentina 1-1 on aggregate.
The Argentine would score the second goal of the match as Fiorentina were awarded a penalty kick. The goalkeeper would jump the wrong way and Nicolás González would score the goal as they would qualify for European competition.
Underrated player. Very good for the whole team. He could be important in the Copa America 2024.
I didn’t realize he was wearing the #10 for Fiorentina now. Hope he keeps playing as a left winger.
