Exequiel Palacios scored for Bayer Leverkusen in their 5-1 win vs. Darmstadt.
Palacios got his first goal of the season in for Leverkusen as they lead the Bundesliga. With the score at 1-1, the ball fell to the Argentine on the edge of the penalty area and his effort on goal took a deflection and he scored to give Leverkusen the 2-1 lead.
The 24 year old had five goals and two assists in 34 matches last season. He has also been called up to the Argentina national team for the September World Cup qualifying matches.
