Conmebol and UEFA are working on organizing friendly matches for March 2024.
The Argentina national team have four more South American World Cup qualifying matches to be played this year but they could be playing a European team next year. According to Gastón Edul, Conmebol and UEFA are working on organizing friendly matches between South American and European teams for March 2024.
For Argentina, it would help them prepare for the 2024 Copa America, there would also be games played in 2026.
Would like to see them play England as I don’t think Messi has ever played against them. But it doesn’t really matter now, he has nothing to prove. It would just be nice to see him have fun against a rival.
These matches are unnecessary in my opinion. We are already playing qualifiers almost monthly. Copa will be against American teams not euro teams. I’d love to see more Argentina matches of course but not at the chance of injury and unnecessary fatigue
What is river plate doing by not giving erchaveri the must deserve minutes when worldcup is arround the corner🤷♂️
