Lionel Messi will reportedly miss Inter Miami’s next match vs. Chicago Fire.

Messi did not take part in Inter Miami’s 1-1 draw vs. New York City on Saturday as he continues to recover from a knock and is set to miss their next game. According to Gastón Edul, Messi will not play against Chicago Fire on Wednesday.

The Argentine is not expected to play and according to the tweet, the aim is for Messi to get some minutes against Cincinnati next Saturday. The game vs. Cincinnati will be the last one before the international break.

Argentina will play a World Cup qualifying match on October 12 against Paraguay and a second game on Octoebr 17 against Peru.

  1. Has Lo Celso played any minute for Spurs in this season yet? What makes him enjoy being a benchsucker?

    He should just retire so that we don’t count on him anymore. Absolutely pathetic player that even Saudi League doesn’t want to recruit him.

    I sometimes believe that his injury was a big lucky factor in our world cup win. If he was healthy, he would have got injured in the middle of the tournament and ruined our team chemistry and game plan.
