Lionel Messi has been named the Inter Miami MVP of the season.

Messi has been named the team’s Most Valuable Player after joining them in the summer. The eight time Ballon d’Or winner captained Inter Miami to a Leagues Cup trophy, the team’s first trophy.

He scored 10 goals and had four assists in the Leagues Cup, being the top scorer of the tournament while also being named the best player. He has scored 11 goals and has eight assists in 14 matches with Inter Miami.

  1. Was anyone expecting someone else? Feel sorry for Inter Miami that they missed him at a crucial juncture. Looking forward to the next two Argentina matches. He is still Scaloni’s go to man.
