Lionel Scaloni commented on his Argentina national team and Lionel Messi.
Scaloni spoke in an interview with Christian Vieri on Bobo TV and the Argentina national team coach spoke about his current team. Here is what he had to say:
“With this shirt, you have to play with the heart, with everything you have. The national team is an invitation and if you come, it is with pleasure, a different way than from a club.
“We saw that we have good players, that know how to play together.”
The Argentina national team coach also spoke about Lionel Messi:
“A World Cup is the most extraordinary thing for a player… In my opinion, he played with his heart, beyond everything good that he is. He became unstoppable, it was really impossible to stop him.
“Seeing him up close is something that is impossible to describe, if I told you the thing he does in training, you wouldn’t believe me. He is crazy. With me, he was a forward, a winger. The team is built around him.
“I told Leo that he was happy on the pitch, that he should keep playing as long as he can. He showed us that in football, there are no limits and that is amazing.
“In my opinion, he can keep playing but it will depend on him.”
