Argentina, Peru, Chile with Canada or Trinidad and Tobago in Group A at Copa America

Argentina have been drawn with Peru, Chile and one of Canada or Trinidad and Tobago at the 2024 Copa America.

Lionel Scaloni’s team have been drawn in Group A with two teams from South America and one from the Concacaf region. The 2024 Copa America draw has Argentina, on paper, in a group that could have been mroe difficult. Here are the groups for the 2024 Copa America in the United States:

Chile
Canada/Trinidad and Tobago

Group B:
Mexico
Ecuador
Venezuela
Jamaica

Group C:
United States
Uruguay
Panama
Bolivia

Group D:
Brazil
Colombia
Paraguay
Costa Rica/Honduras

The first match at the Copa America will be Argentina vs. Canada or Trinidad and Tobago on June 20 in Atlanta. Argentina’s second match will be against Chile on June 25 in New Jersey and the third group stage match against Peru on June 29 in Miami.

  1. Looks like an easy road to the next round. Only 2 FIFA top 10 teams in the whole tournament. Quite a few in the 11-20 ranking.

  2. Always great to be in group A, also an honor to our team.
    I’m surprised Puma is the sponsor for this cup, and the game ball is Puma. That’s a first for me at least.
    Also ….Ticket prices are going to be stupid expensive. I don’t know if I can do it out of principle especially if it’s in the thousands. Nothing makes sense anymore.

  3. No Brazil, Columbia, Uruguay and USA until final…… there is absolutely no reason for Argentina not winning this Copa. Peru, Chile and Mexico are all shit right now. Ecuador might be the only threat to us but still much easier than Columbia/Uruguay.

  4. WORLD CUP CHAMPS…..should play their game and everything else is secondary.
    I would love to see NEW blood incorporated into the team, there are plenty of young players itching to be given a chance.
