Claudio Echeverri to Manchester City is a done deal.
Echeverri will be joining Julian Alvarez at Manchester City. According to César Luis Merlo, the Premier League champions will pay €25 million for him.
The 17 year old will stay with River Plate for one year and will be signing a long term contract.
@Enganche, I have the same wish for Echeverri. A loan to a mid table teams from Portugal, Spain, Holland and Italy would be ideal for his development. Because those countries have better player development growth environments. English is the game is too direct and physical for many young players. And the culture shock can affect him mentally too.
I hope when he moves to Europe they loan him to a smaller team where he can develop further.
