Lautaro Martínez scores for Inter, reaches 18 goals for the season

Lautaro Martínez scored for Inter in their 2-1 win vs. Verona and he reaches 18 goals for the season.

Martínez has made it 16 goals in the league and has now scored a goal in each of his last three matches. With the score at 0-0, the ball fell to the Argentine inside the penalty area and an outside of the foot finish by Lautaro gave Inter the 1-0 lead.

The 26 year old played the entire match for Inter which ended in drama. At 1-1, Inter scored in injury time and Verona were awarded a penalty kick after that, which was missed.

  1. Carboni outstanding. Took his goal well, involved in the other 2 goals. Only his 3rd start I believe.
Soule, bad day at the office, despite his penalty goal. He lost the ball, which led to Carboni goal and then scored the unfortunate own goal.
Javier Zanetti is in Argentina to try and sign Cristian Medina from Boca.

  2. Alongwith LAUTARO, Both VALENTINE CARBONI and MATIAS SOULE scored for their respective clubs. Our young players are playing really well they only need some opportunities which so-called big clubs are not eager to give. Still our young players are proving their worth for their clubs which is a good sign actually.
