Argentina to play Ecuador and Guatemala in June friendly matches

Per reports by journalist Gastón Edul, Argentina will face Ecuador and Guatemala in June friendly matches before the start of the Copa America.

Even though Argentina’s rivals are confirmed, the dates and venues might change. The national team would play Ecuador in Chicago on June 9th and Guatemala in Washington on June 14th. This would mean Lionel Scaloni’s team would arrive in the United States at least ten days before the Copa America begins.

Ecuador is a possible rival for Argentina in case they both qualify for the Copa America semifinals.

Argentina will also play two friendly matches in the United States in March against El Salvador and Nigeria.
