Bournemouth coach Andoni Iraoli spoke about Marcos Senesi’s injury.

Marcos Senesi was substituted out injured for Bournemouth and did not finish their match against Burnley. Andoni Iraoli spoke with the Daily Echo about Senesi. Here is what he had to say:

“I think it’s a clear strain in the hamstring.

“I hope it’s not very big. It’s a very bad moment for us, collectively because we don’t have too many defenders right now.

But also for him personally, because he has been called again with the national team, with Argentina.

“And I hope it’s not big. And I hope he can go there and play with his national team. That is, I know, something very important for him.”

Senesi was also called up to the Argentina national team by coach Lionel Scaloni for the two matches this month against El Salvador and Costa Rica.

  1. One thing got to learn from scaloni choice of players Especially defenders if you are tall and average you have better chances than a not so short good defenders as example Nicolás Valentini is 6,2 while medina is 6 foot remember medina has been consistent performing well from last three seasons in ligue 1

    • We should trust the coach. When medina was selected for NT he didn’t play maybe scaloni didn’t like what he seen in training.

  2. “Nicolás Valentini of Boca Juniors called up to Argentina National Team. He’s the replacement of ‘injured’ Marcos Senesi” This is a political move facunda medina deserves to be called instead of him
