The Champions League Round of 16 continues on Tuesday with second leg matches and two Argentine players.
Alan Varela and FC Porto take a 1-0 lead against Arsenal with the match taking place at the Emirates in London. The Argentine has started in every Champions League match for FC Porto this season.
Giovanni Simeone and Napoli are away against FC Barcelona with the first match having ended in a 1-1 draw. was brought on as a substitute against Barcelona in the first match.
There is Valentini, Facundo medina, Agustin Gray, Valentin Gomez, Gaston Avilla, Nuheun Perez ( will unfortunately be 24 by then) who can play as defenders. There are also too many young midfielders. Including DePaul,Otamedi will be selfish and demoralizing towards building future of the team.
Otamendi, dibu, de Paul all wanted to play Olympics, if mache got all 3 it will be good squad along with young players.
I don’t like that idea. That will rob young players spot in the team. I prefer they concentrate with Copa America
Our U23 GKs and defenders are below average. (except Barco).
Ayy Varela injured. Off on a stretcher.
Hope nothing serious, he is playing well
Varela is doing well but the porto keeper is awful, not forgetting their Rb being cooked by Arsenal forwards.
Meanwhile, Hernan Crespo’s team Al Ain eliminated CR Al Nassr in the AFC Champions League, Congrats Crespo, will in the European elite club radar.
I said few weeks ago after that friendly between them and Inter M, that her highness’ pitiful happiness will soon land on his head…..clowning him came sooner than expected 🤡 🐠 🤡 🐠
I don’t hate Ronaldo. But I love me some crespo. Congrats Hernan the Italian
