Juan Musso won the 2023/2024 Europa League with Atalanta after their 3-0 victory vs. Bayer Leverkusen in Dublin, Ireland.

The Argentine became the first goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in a Europa League final since Jan Oblak in 2018. Talking with ESPN, Musso said the following about his teammate, who scored the three goals, Ademola Lookman:

“I told Lookman that if he scored a goal, we would win because we would have a clean sheet. Then he scored three, he exaggerated.”

The former Racing Club goalkeeper started 12 of the 13 matches with Atalanta in this Europa League, and he only conceded eight goals.

Exequiel Palacios started the final for Bayer Leverkusen and was substituted in the 68th minute.

  1. Wld have been ideal to get him back to NT now. The only hope for him, Benitez etc is if Armani retires. Armani just dosent get dropped & a real surprising decision always by Scaloni.

  2. Enzo was not good at club level. McAlista was. I just hope Enzo plays way better for his country. We have a back to form Brazil and a superfast Uruguay to conquer, not saying that Canada, Chile etc would be easy opponents.

  3. Poch sacking happened because of differences in opinion. Mainly Poch doesn’t feel Enzo and Caiceido are not good enough. Especially Enzo. He feels Enzo is neither destructive enough for #6 or creative enough to play further up.

    Interesting 🤨

    • Chelsea started to play better when Enzo is out..!
Everyone was against Mac Allister and praised..Enzo and Caiciedo..! Many said they (Enzo, Caiciedo) made Mac Allister better player not vise versa.
Mac Allister still same player at Liverpool..!
