Atletico Madrid interested in Julián Álvarez

Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Julián Álvarez from Manchester City.

Diego Simeone’s club could be looking into signing another Argentine player. According to Marca, Álvarez is Atletico’s “great desire” this summer.

There are no talks between the clubs yet but Álvarez is aware of the interest and Atletico know it won’t be easy. Atletico have three Argentine World Cup champions in their team with Nahuel Molina, Rodrigo De Paul and Ángel Correa.

Julián Álvarez is presently with the Argentina national team training for their two matches against Ecuador and Guatemala.
