Lionel Messi on his time with PSG: “Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out as I had hoped”

Lionel Messi spoke about his time with PSG stating that it didn’t turn out the way he had hoped.

Messi only played for two clubs in Europe. The first being FC Barcelona and the second being in Paris with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentine won two league titles in his two years at the club. Speaking in an interview with ESPN Argentina, here is what Messi had to say about his time with the club:

“I have nothing against them but unfortunately, it didn’t turn out as I had hoped. Personally, I had a hard time with the change. It was very difficult for us. That affects me a lot emotionally. However, while in Paris, the best thing happened to me. I became a world champion.”

“In Paris, the neighbors would ring the doorbell to ask us to keep the noise down; the neighbors were tough. It was 9 or 10 at night.”
