  1. Arsenal has reportedly made contact with Boca Juniors regarding the potential transfer of Ezequiel “Equi” Fernandez.

Please Arsenal save him from retirement league and idiot Riquelme!

  2. While Masche might be a below average coach, if he claims that Equi Fernandez is the next best talent emerging from Argentina then he either genuinely believes it or is trying to boost Equi’s confidence ahead of Olympics. Regardless, it is quite disheartening that top young Argentine talents are being recruited by Saudi clubs for mere $12 million, a sum that is mere peanuts for even tier b clubs in Europe, while an untested 17 year old like Endrick is being bought by biggest club in the world for 72 million and is set to be unveiled sometime this week.

    • He is good it ain’t hype . I think our marketing department is really poor when comes to sell kids to Europe also there is always hype about Brazilian in Europe even though they didn’t do shit in recent years. He comes close to being replacement of De Paul in my opinion coz he is the machine like attitude as De Paul also he can play both feet as far as I know. Shame he is gonna go Saudi which is poor for a young prospect like him.

  3. Equi Fernandez and Redondo are no where near the hype which is why not even tier b European clubs weren’t interested or willing to pay the price Argentine clubs are demanding. Equi is already 22 and by this age you should have already been in Europe if he was anywhere near his hype.

    • I’ve been saying the same about Thiago Almada.

The scouting departments of top European clubs simply don’t miss any good talents.

However, players should be more ambitious about their career instead of settling for MLS or the Saudi league. It even took DePaul and Paredes a few years to shine in Europe. Equi, Almada and Redondo definitely can play for a Serie A team if they want to.

Lo Celso is not a star midfielder, but he does his best to stay in EPL. I am now a fan of him!

      • That’s a forgotten case. Pavon was hyped to be the next thing. The dumbest thing is even Sampaoli benched Dimaria for him. Those ratings means nothing until the player tests himself at a top league.
