Leandro Paredes scored for Boca Juniors in their 2-1 win against Universidad Católica in the Copa Libertadores.
Paredes got the first goal for Boca in the Copa Libertadores, scoring in their win. With the score at 0-0, the ball fell to Paredes and the Argentine would score from outside of the penalty area to give Boca Juniors the 1-0 lead.
With Boca leading 1-0, Lautaro Blanco played a low pass into the penalty area which found Adam Bareiro and he would score Boca’s second goal of the match.
At 2-0, Universidad Católica were awarded a corner kick. The loose ball fell to Juan Ignacio Díaz and the Argentine would score their only goal.

Paredes’s performance in both Copa Americas 2021 and 24 was pivotal for the title.
But in the WC 22 he wasnt the core starter of the team so providing the depth we have in the mid field what do u guyz think in 26 WC what will be Leandro Paredes’s role?
Rotation player (12-15th player with Otamendi, Lautaro and others, maybe even a starter against special opponents in 4 midfielders format (like against Croatia in 22 or against Brazil in 4:1) he played very good in Copa 19 too (maybe his best tournament) good in Copa 21 but was very important in WC22 KO stages too. Always changed the rhytm of the games after chaos and come backs from opponents (against Holland and France+important penalties) and in Copa 24 final the 3 subs extras won us the trophy (Paredes, Lo Celso, Lautaro). So a very important player, maybe still the best deep controller/playmaker/distributor of the team and a huge leader with De Paul. So underrated, a beast in Boca in more unleashed creative role, dont understand his hate.
