Argentina national team announced for October qualifiers
The Argentina national team for the October World Cup qualifiers was announced this Wednesday.
The Albiceleste will face Venezuela on Thursday, October 10, and host Bolivia on Tuesday, October 15, at the Estadio Monumental.
Lionel Messi, Nicolás Tagliafico, Leonardo Balerdi, Exequiel Palacios, Thiago Almada, and Nicolás Paz return to the team. Emiliano Martínez, who is suspended, along with Matías Soulé, Ezequiel Fernández, Guido Rodríguez, Valentín Castellanos, Giuliano Simeone, and Valentín Barco are not included.

Hope Balerdi gets enough pitch time. We need to have a solid backup for Cuti and Licha. Pezella is not. Hope to see Nico Paz get some time on the pitch too.

Meanwhile Simeone haram ball is hurting Atletico Madrid. I don’t get rationale behind triple change of Koke, Griezeman and DePaul. Personally I would have preferred DePaul,Koke and Gallagher in that midfield. Bring on Correa as a supersub.
As for Alvarez his decision to leave City was misguided. Pep Guardiola was the best coach meant for him.
Failure to call Alan Varela is completely unjustified.
Calling Pezella, Montiel is complete insult to better players out there like Facundo Medina, Julio Soler, Senesi, . Valentin barco is good but defensively has been average.

2)First time I see Guido is out of squad but no replacement is called.
