Argentina faces Bolivia at El Monumental this Tuesday, and according to reports from TyC Sports, this is the starting eleven coach Lionel Scaloni has in mind, in a 4-3-1-2 formation:
Goalkeeper: Gerónimo Rulli
Defense: Nahuel Molina, Cristian Romero, Nicolás Otamendi, Nicolás Tagliafico
Midfield: Rodrigo De Paul, Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Allister
Attack: Lionel Messi, Julián Álvarez, Lautaro Martínez
Romero and Lisandro conceded no goals playing together at Copa America. No one is performing at Man Utd, standards are low at Man Utd.
Man u’s standards gone a long ago, when ” hair dryer” stopped coaching, lol!( never was fan though, even with Veron and Heinze playing there)
Also Spurs been in mess even lot longer, lol! Long gone are days of Ardiles & Villa…
But, i don’t blame neither Cuti or Licha for this, offcourse everyone make’s misstake’s and have ” off games or below Bar performance’s”, but every player is kind of responsible, though some misstake’s allways pointed at some one and also if there is case, well then it is that etc.,.
Anyhow i don’t rank Ten Haag, that great even he did fine with Ajax, but that is with every respect a completly different level….
Most of ARG players allways perform better, when playing with ARG, but this was not allways the case as many mostl propably can remember or maybe it better not to remember….
Sabella was unfortunate not to win WC, Billardo had 2 WC final’s as first won and second was lost, but not his fault as too many players injured/ suspended at 90’ etc…
+ other nation’s had some good team’s during, his era, though ARG had too and ofcourse EL DIEGO and BURRU, CANI etc….
Menotti, though maybe had even larger selection available and did great at 78’,and 79 he won the youth WC with EL DIEGO for ARG too, but 82’ was not good enough….i Still think ARG blew it in group stage 1 as if they had won the group stage 1, then group stage 2 would had not been with Italy and Brazil, which both had very good teams also other nations had very good teams at 78’ and 82’
Still somehow Scaloni and Co. so underrated by many, but personally i think they done tremendous job and specially taking to consideration where it all started etc…and what they achieved 2 Copa’s won, 1 Finallisima and WC!
If he can win his second WC as coach of ARG, that would be such a statement, that is hard to overcome by any others as i think only Italian Coach named Vittorio Pozzo has managed to win back to back WC’s at 1934 and 1938 + he won Olympics too with Italy at 1936
Anyhow those were very facist year’s and also lot of other problems and Uruguay did not even participated at 1934 and 1938 after winning 1930 as protest against, because many Europeans did not participated in 1930 WC and also teams from ARG did want to release their best players as 1930 WC top scorer Stabile and also they were affraid , that some would join Italy like Monti had did previously by moving Italy + there were 2 Argentine borned players in Italy’s 1934 WC winning team as Orsi and Guaita. Don’t know if they played also at 1938 Italy’s WC winning team..?
Also ARG protested against 1938 with same reason as Uruguay, because FIFA had promised, that WC were to be played on other Continent after another so one Continent could not had 2 consecutive WC’s, but offcourse as FIFA they broked they promise!
Why Scaloni call up Soler, bonanote??? For sitting on the bench

I am really glad that Scaloni has dropped Licha from the startling xi. He has been in abysmal form for United and he absolutely does’t derserve to start for us. Scaloni has high standards which is why he was able to domiate every opponent and create fear !
I think Licha is also not fully fit/carrying a knock, so that might be a factor too. So Otamendi gets to start but his once formidable aerial ability has evaporated somehow. He is now routinely beaten in the air. We also know that he is easily outpaced by younger attacking players. I am not sure we’re safe with Otamendi in our defense anymore. Pezzella on the other hand, had a surprisingly decent game vs Venezuela. Should he be partnering Cuti instead?
Romero is heavily criticised in Spurs too.
