Lionel Messi has become the all time leading goal scorer for Inter Miami.
Messi scored three goals for Inter Miami in their 6-2 win against New England and with those three goals, no players has scored more for the club. The 37 year old started the match on the bench and was substituted in, scoring three to surpass and break the record.
Leonardo Campana, Messi’s current team mate, held the record at 32 goals but Messi has surpassed him. He also has 17 assists for the club.
The Argentine has 21 goals in 25 games in the MLS, two goals in three CONCACAF Champions Cup matches and 10 goals in seven Leagues Cup games.
