Lautaro Martínez spoke about finishing in seventh place in the Ballon d’Or voting.
Martínez ranked seventh place in the Ballon d’Or, despite having a solid season. The Agentine won the Copa America with the Argentina national team, scoring the goal in the final which won the team the trophy and also finished as the Copa America top scorer.
With Inter, he won Serie A, while being named the Serie A MVP and top scorer. Speaking in an interview with DAZN, here is what Lautaro had to say:
“To be honest, I was expecting more than 7th position at the Ballon d’Or. Sometimes at these awards they are unfair”.
“I”ll be working hard to improve that position.”
Even people here do not appreciate him, never mind Ballon d’or LOL.
Like the assist he made yesterday was brilliant. That facet of his play barely gets recognised, because modern “football fans” don’t understand the game beyond counting goals.
