Argentina against Peru will be played at La Bombonera.

The November World Cup qualifying match between Argentina and Peru will not be played at El Monumental. According to Gastón Edul, the reason for the change is because El Monumental, which is the home of the Argentina national team, will be hosting the Copa Liberadores final on Nomember 30 and for preparations, the match will be played in Boca’s stadium.

Lionel Scaloni’s team will play Peru on November 19 in their second World Cup qualifying match of November.

  1. Bad news that Cuti had to leave the field with a knock. “Romero felt something at half-time, felt a bit tight,” Ange Postecoglou said after the game. “I was going to take him off at half-time, but he was pretty insistent on starting (the second half), but after the game started, my gut was telling me after losing Micky, we couldn’t afford to lose Cuti as well. So, we took him off.” I hope this is nothing serious and lingering.

  2. Unpopular opinion: I think it’s high time Scaloni drops garnacho. His attitude, laziness and body language cost his team 2points. Those who criticize Nico Gonzalez can see importance of a workaholic winger with immense workrate. I haven’t watched Thiago Fernandez, I hope he lives up to the hype.
Enzo Fernandez did well but should have finished that chance to give Chelsea the win

  3. Plays with a “knife between his teeth” that’s for sure! Not the most skilled player but as you all have said he’s determined and athletic, a good player to have on the bench for those occasional physical, hard to win matches.

    • Something about playing Peru at bombonera is sketchy, Peru knocked us out of the WC in a qualifier, Gago blew out his knee there qualifying for Russia when we almost didn’t make it. Prefer monumental always
