The Argentina national team needs a victory against Peru this Tuesday to maintain its position at the top of the FIFA Rankings.

Due to France’s 3-1 win over Italy last Sunday in the UEFA Nations League, Les Bleus would take over the top spot in the FIFA Rankings if La Albiceleste fails to secure a win today.

Here is the current top 10, updated as of October 24, 2024:

1. Argentina: 1889.02 points

2. France: 1851.2 points

3. Spain: 1836.42 points

4. England: 1817.28 points

5. Brazil: 1772.02 points

6. Belgium: 1768.14 points

7. Netherlands: 1759.95 points

8. Portugal: 1752.14 points

9. Colombia: 1738.72 points

  1. Les Bleus and they supporters might be licking their fingers, but they will never forgot or can overcome the fact ARG beat them in WC final and their hiostile and very disrespective behaviour’s towards ARG will haunt them forever as burning flags of other nation is such a disgrace!

Anyhow ARG should only concentrate on the game against Peru and hopefully sort out other things after if coaching is willing..?, which might had been handy to sort out latest after COPA like calling Senesi forexample, just in case ARG hapoen’s to loose both CUTI and LICHA as now ARG missing NICO, CUTI, LICHA and Molina too ( i’m not even wanting to really mention Pezzella and Acuna ) and though Medina and Giuliano called up, well i doubt them getting a start so hopefully those who start will play as WC final exept Ota hopefully avoiding or reoeating his misstake like’s such as in WC final, which nearly costed ARG the WC also his performances lately for ARG have not been good enough as quite far from it and therefore he must show against Peru something quite extra ordinary as in my opinnion he should not been starting, but i quess he would even CUTI and LICHA would be available..? And offcourse he needs the whole team to step up too otherwise he won’t pr might not stand a chance and honestly i wish him the best farewell with ARG ( doubt that will be the case) , but can’t or not understand why he did not retire on top as Angel did, they even play both in Benfica and know each others for so long…, so they must had talked about it too, but in the end Angel retired, when he Could had continued and, well i can’t really say the same about Ota, though i’m more than greatfull what he has given for the shirt of ALBICELESTE
