Julio Soler joins Bournemouth

Julio Soler has joined Bournemouth.

Soler joins Bournemouth from Lanús on a long term deal at the club. The 19 year old left back has also been picked for the Argentina U20 national team to play at the Sudamericano. Speaking to Bournemouth’s website, here is what he had to say:

“I am very happy. It is something I longed for and it is a very important step for me.

“I think I chose it because they showed me a lot of affection the first moment they contacted me. I didn’t choose it, they chose me and I’m happy to be here.”

The Argentine also gave a message to the fans:

“As Argentines, I think they know it. That we give everything.

“All the effort will be for them and to leave the club higher.”

      • I know that Garnacho gets a lot of hate. But if you take away his love for CR7 and the fact he’s been playing for such a high profile team, everyone would love him. It reminds me of the weird bias that used to exist against Messi when people used to say he was more Spanish than Argentine.
I think Garnacho is doing well for his age and is already an asset to the team. If he keeps improving and focusing, he can be a great player like Di Maria has been.
