Julián Álvarez scored twice and Ángel Correa once for Atletico Madrid in their 3-0 win against Valencia.

It was a match which had three goals and all three were scored by an Argentine World Cup winner. With the score at 0-0, it was an effort by Atletico which hit the crossbar and the ball fell to Álvarez for the rebound who would score to give them the 1-0 lead.

Álvarez would score a second goal, a cross by Antoine Griezmann which found Álvarez who would score the header. The Argentine now has 19 goals and four assists for Atletico Madrid.

Ángel Correa would make it 3-0 off a counter attack, scoring from inside the penalty area.

  1. 19 goals 4 assists playing for a team that provides very little service. His clinicality has improved a lot! He is a lucky charm for any side he plays and Atletico will need the luck for their upcoming tough fixtures!
