Lionel Messi is a doubt for Argentina’s two matches against Uruguay and Brazil after feeling discomfort while with Inter Miami.

Messi could miss Argentina’s World Cup qualifying matches against Uruguay and Brazil. According to Fernando Czyz and Nani Senra, the 37 year old felt discomfort in his right adductor during Inter Miami’s 2-1 win against Atlanta United.

A decision to see if he will travel will be made soon.

  1. The others in the team should now try to get adjusted to the reality that Messi would not be around till eternity. He might not even be around in 2026. The two matches would be huge challenges for our team. Not feeling hopeful at all. But whatever be the result, I hope the team takes away good lessons.
