Julián Álvarez started for Argentina in their 1-0 win against Uruguay in the World Cup qualifiers and spoke about the match to the media.
Álvarez was the lone striker up front for Lionel Scaloni’s team and also had the assist for Thiago Almada’s goal. The Argentine was every where on the pitch and spoke about the match against Uruguay. Here is what he had to say:
“We must continue working and growing as a group.
“These are three very important points, but we are taking it one step at a time. We must continue to grow as a group.
“It seemed like a game that had to be opened with a goal like that.”
