Ángel Correa and Nico Paz score in Argentina friendly charity match

Ángel Correa and Nico Paz both scored for Argentina in their 2-0 friendly charity match win against the Argentina U20 team.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni had put out a starting eleven which consisted of players that did not start in Argentina’s 1-0 win against Uruguay. Here was the starting eleven for the match:

Rulli; Medina, Balerdi, Pezzella, Foyth; Perrone, Palacios; Benjamín Domínguez, Correa, Paz; Castro

Rodrigo De Paul assisted Correa on his goal while Paz had a more individual effort on his goal. The match was to help raise money for the Bahía Blanca floods.

  1. Soler was not released by Bournemouth for this game.

This was U20 line up: Martinet; Dylan Gorosito, Pierani, Ramírez, Pagano; Acuña, Delgado, Millán; Subiabre, Hidalgo, Aquino.

  2. I remember some of ’em:

    ———————————————–Benitez—————————————–

    ——–Gorosito————————-?———————-Ramirez———————–?

    —————–Delgado———————Acuna———————–Millan—————-

    —————–Subiabre——————–Hidalgo———————–Aquino

Don’t remember the 2 that replaced Jimenez and Soler and I don’t recognize Millan and Aquino from the U20 qualifiers.
As I said before, the U20 at times looked more organized and in sync than the senior team. Honestly if the U20 world cup goes well then I for one would like to see Placente take over from Scaloni (assuming that Aimar leaves as well).
