Santiago Castro and Benjamín Domínguez win Coppa Italia with Bologna

Young Argentines Santiago Castro and Benjamín Domínguez won the 2025 Coppa Italia with Bologna after defeating AC Milan 1-0 in the final on Wednesday at the Stadio Olimpico.

Santiago Castro started the match for Bologna and finished the tournament as the top assist provider, with three assists.

This marks Bologna’s first title in 51 years—the last one being the 1974 Coppa Italia. With this victory, the club has now won the Coppa Italia three times in its history.

It is also the first professional title in the careers of both Castro and Domínguez.

  1. I am happy today that Mascherano, living breathing POS of a manager no longer has anything to do with the U20 youth. In his latest article on ESPN he says Miami need to learn how to suffer. How about you coach them up you piece of crap? How about instead of talking shit you learn how to coach. This guy is the single handed destroyer of any club he touches. He can’t even win in the MLS with Messi,Suarez, and many more.
He was a creation and marketing product of Maradona by declaring how great he was when in fact he was a one dimensional midfielder who had to be moved to defender in his club team. And as a manager, he is an absolute idiot. If I don’t ever see this guy near a pitch it would be ok with me. Total con artist.
