Everton are set to activate the €15 million buy option clause for Carlos Alcaraz from Flamengo, according to reports by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 22-year-old Argentine was on loan this season with the English club, which finished 13th in the 2024/2025 Premier League. This year, Alcaraz played in 15 matches and scored 2 goals.

Some Everton fans on X expressed their excitement over the news:

What a time to be alive 🥳🥳🥳

This will go down as the best bit of business of the summer when Everton sell Alcaraz for £100m in two summers.

Charly Alcaraz has truly immersed himself into Everton and has felt at home all season, he made it clear to the club and to Flamengo that he only wanted Everton 🔵
