Julián Álvarez disallowed goal, Atletico Madrid lose 4-0 vs. PSG at Club World Cup

Julián Álvarez had a goal disallowed as Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid lost 4-0 against Paris Saint-Germain.

Álvarez scored a goal for Atletico Madrid which was later called off due to a foul before the goal but Simeone’s Atletico Madrid are now last place in their group. The reigning Champions League winners took a 2-0 lead before Julián Álvarez scored his goal which was disallowed.

Paris Saint-Germain would score two more goals for the win. Unless one of Botafogo and Seattle Sounders lose by a four goal margin, Atletico Madrid will be in last place in their group going up against Seattle Sounders on Thursday.

Rodrigo De Paul and Giuliano Simeone also started the match for Atletico Madrid while Ángel Correa was brought on as a substitute and Juan Musso was on the bench.
