Enzo Fernández was the first Argentine player to score at the Club World Cup, finding the back of the net in Chelsea’s 2-0 win against LAFC.
Rodrigo Battaglia was the next Argentine player to score, getting a goal for Boca Juniors in their 2-2 draw against Benfica. In the same match, Ángel Di María and Nicolás Otamedi scored both goals for Benfica in the draw.
For River Plate, Facundo Colidio, Sebastián Driussi and Maxi Meza had all three goals for them in their 3-1 win vs. Urawa Reds.
Lautaro Martínez is the latest Argentine to score, getting the only goal for Inter in their 1-1 draw against Monterrey.
