  1. Mid table Como without real ambitions (UCL place) is inside of his comfort zone, thats where our youngsters work, guy step higher to Inter outside your comfort zone to improve! Show charachter, fight for your place against much better players! Thats how things work, he was simply horrible against Chile. Comfort zone youngsters will never perform in NT. Our every regular player played in top or at least in an UCL candidate club. How can a youngster learn what is pressure in Albiceleste always fighting for trophies with minimal margin of error in small clubs? Doesnt know at all.

    • He wasn’t horrible against Chile – no one gave him the ball. He has 1 more year to play under Fabregas. I do agree that he may miss a chance to work with Xabi Alonso but with a WC 26-man roster why would he risk not playing??

    • I see things totally different from you. First of all Como has big ambitions hence why they spent more money last season than most Italian clubs and if they continue to play the way they played in the 2nd half of the season they’ll be in the top 6 this season and may….MAY even fight for top 4.
Nico Paz is the star of the team and was basically carrying the team on his shoulder, starting in a good league against several teams that are better, that’s ideal for someone of Paz’s age IMO.
Real Madrid aren’t exactly known for giving their youth much playing time, I mean hell just go and look at Real’s team, how many U23 players from Castilla are getting regular minutes with the first team? The only one I see is Raúl Asencio who is 2 years older than Paz. History clearly indicates that “staying and fighting for your place” at Real gets you nothing but A LOT of time on the bench.

Lastly I don’t agree with you on him being horrible against Chile, he had 2 key passes in the first half that weren’t utilised by the others and had Scaloni not needlessly replace him at half time to give Messi his obligatory playing time I think Paz would’ve done more.

    • Isn’t it better to get constant playing time under a sound mind like Cesc and more importantly be the main orchestrator of Como in terms of dictating the midfield and the odd privileges to play as a false 9 as well rather than just warming the bench for eternity in a squad full of stars? Being a bench warmer will do him no good in terms of a call up from Scaloni, so this should be better for him.

  2. How worried you guys are if Almada ends up in Ligue 2, he will lose his abilities? I mean playing in an inferior league is not great but does not have to mean the end of the world either. Can he still preserve his abilities? What do you guys think?

    • Yes, right move for Paz with remaining one more year with Como, though ultimatly and obviously it will allways come down to RM’s decission in the future as he is their player. I read allready some time a’go from ”somewhere”, that there was serious intrest from like’s of Leverkusen forexample. I hope he will have even better season with Como, than last one! It is very good for him, that he will play again regularly with Como instead of not getting minutes in RM! Nico Paz has so many good yesr’s ahead of him! Whether it will be in RM shirt, well it is up to RM to decide, but Nico is ambitous player who will demand minute’s where ever he will end up in the future and surely, there will be competition for his service! RM offcourse will surely pay what they are required to do next year as they won’t let him go cheap if, that will be the case…, but for now it is very good for Nico just to be with Como for 1 more year as he don’t need to think of anything else and only focus for his second season on loan with como!
