Alexis Mac Allister speaks on the Finalissima not taking place

Alexis Mac Allister has spoken about the Finalissima not taking place.

Mac Allister has been called up to the Argentina national team for the two matches against Mauritania and Zambia. Argentina were initially set to play against Spain in the Finalissima but that match is not taking place. Mac Allister is in Argentina for the two matches and spoke to ESPN Argentina about the Finalissima. Here is what he had to say:

“It’s a shame because it would have been a nice match. It wasn’t to be, now we will focus on the friendly matches.”

The Argentine also commented on Claudio Tapia’s comments about the team being champions as Spain refused to play the match:

“The matches are won on the pitch, we are players and we want to win. I would like to play it in the future, we all would like to play it.”
