Lionel Messi scores twice for Inter Miami in 2-1 win vs. Nashville

Lionel Messi scored twice for Inter Miami in their 2-1 win against Nashville.

Messi had both goals for Inter Miami, one of which was a free kick. At 0-0, Inter Miami were awarded a free kick and it was Messi who took it.

The 38 year old took it and he would kick it low into the bottom corner to give Inter Miami the 1-0 lead. Nashville would draw level but once more, it was Messi.

At 1-1, the Argentine would press to win the ball and score to give Inter Miami the 2-1 lead. Messi now has 11 goals and four assists in Inter Miami’s last five matches.

  1. A very underrated player, has the grit of Mascherano, the athleticism of De Paul and passes like Paredes (during his earlier years). Now, he’s not a world beater per say but he’s the type of player (a forward thinking, hardworking DM) that any team could use.

  2. Benfica want to sign enzo Barrenechea from aston villa, for me enzo Barrenechea should replace paredes for Argentina nt both are similar profile if he do well the up come season whichever club he plays he should be a world Cup squad
