Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Equi Fernández of Al Qadsiah.

Equi Fernández could be playing in Germany. According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayer Leverkusen have the Argentine on their shortlist.

The deal with Real Sociedad for the 23 year old fell through. Equi joined the Saudi Arabian club last year from Boca Juniors.

Under Ten Haag, Leverkusen are a bit of a wild card for next season. My assumption would be that they will struggle in the early steps of the season. However, Leverkusen is not a bad club at all to kick-off a career in Europe. Many great South Americans had their break-through there. Furthermore, with Sarco & Palacios there are already a few Argentinians to settle in. Hopefully the River-Boca-rivalry won’t way too much, jaja.
