Equi Fernández was red carded for Bayer Leverkusen in their 3-1 win against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Fernández started the match on the bench for Bayer Leverkusen and following Exequiel Palacios being substituted out with an injury and Robert Andrich being sent off, the Argentine was substituted in for his first match with his new club.
The 23 year old got his first yellow card after being tackled down and gesturing with his arm up in the air. With Bayer Leverkusen leading 2-1, Equi would go for the ball, raising his left foot and sliding down with his right, making contact with the player for his second yellow card of the match.
He will miss Bayer Leverkusen’s next league match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Leverkusen will play Copenhagen in the Champions League on Thursday.
Claudio Echeverri was an unused substitute for Leverkusen.
Palacios is officially injury prone and no good for Argentina nt it’s time scaloni move on from him
Good player sadly injury finished him
Argentina coaching should give chance likes enzo Barrenechea, equi Fernandez and maxim Perrone
