Valentín Castellanos is set to join West Ham from Lazio.
As reported earlier, West Ham are interested in signing the Argentine forward. According to Fabrizio Romano, a deal for €29 million has been agreed from Lazio for the Argentine to join West Ham.
Castellanos joined Lazio in 2023 and has scored two goals and provided three assists in 10 league matches.
There is still a spot available for a 3rd striker in the national team and if Castellanos can capitalize on this move to EPL he can definitely make a come back. Excellent transfer to boost his career progress! Having said that, some high profile players from other leagues have failed to adapt to EPL and if Castellanos can help West Ham from getting relegated he can definitely force the management to consider him.
