Galatasaray have made a bid to sign Thiago Almada on loan from Atletico Madrid.
The Turkish club are interested in signing the Argentine. According to Santi Aouna, Galatasaray have made a bid of over €3 million to sign Almada on loan.
Thiago Almada’s salary would be covered with an option to buy being discussed. Almada has already spoken to Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk.
The 24 year old joined Atletico Madrid last year.
The core pillars of 22 are still fit enough to lead the team in 26,except De paul and Maria ( Di Maria’s role during group and knock out matches was not as essential as the below 07,though). Scaloni was often deploying extra midfield player in Di Maria’s stead.

We are left with 04 spots. Acuna/Tagliagico, Molina, De Paul and Di Maria’s position.
As for De paul and Di Maria i would say- the youth are ready to take over. Almada, Paz, Soule, Simone, N.Gonzalez and co can step-up. However, the Full back positions are still void. Molina and Taglia/Acuna unfortunately seem to be irreplaceable,dedpite thier slumping performances and aging factors. Let’s hope Scaloni will keep rotating tactics between 3-5-2 and 4-4-2 to offset the gap.
We are stacked on the right wing however on the left side we only have Nico and Garnacho who are natural wingers. Regardless of his club form Nico has always performed with national team which is why I am willing to take him to the world cup. However, Garnacho still hasn’t convinced me that he should go over Dybala who is having an amazing run of form with Roma. If he is still fit when the squad is announced for the world cup he should be a no-brainer over Garnacho!
Dybala has rarely featured under Scaloni. His impact has been minimal with just 4 goals in 40 appearances for the national team. At this point, the numbers don’t justify his selection. Dybala’s only truly memorable contribution in his entire career was stepping up to take a penalty against France in the World Cup final.
With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, it’s time to think beyond familiar names like Dybala, Palacios, Lo Celso, etc. Argentina must move on and give the next generation real opportunities now, not after 2026. Delaying renewal only slows progress.
Spain destroying Argentina in the finalissima would be a true blessing in disguise.
I don’t disagree with you. Losing to Saudi Arabia was a blessing in disguise that made our team extremely focused. Also the 8th forward spot will be between Dybala, Garnacho, Mastantauno and Soule. As Messi, Lautaro, Alvarez, Simeone, Nico, Almada, Paz barring any injuries are almost certain to make to the world cup squad.
Suddenly Almada being linked to a Brazilian club seems like un upgrade. Galatasray is a historic club in Turkey, but the league is meh….
In hindsight he should have stayed in the French league. He was starting to adapt to his team’s style and then Simeone bought him and benched him.
Also Nico should have stayed in the serie a. He was doing fantastic with Florentina but then injuries hit and then Juve to forced him out. Hopefully an Italian club takes him back, as he is on loan at Atletico.

1. Paredes, Lo Celso, De Paul all Lost their Prime Time. They Both are aged. And some are injured but the only quality Back is Barco. Scaloni should try N.Paz as a right Midfielder but he us not proveb as a Midfielder.
2. Messi, Paz, Mastantuono, Soule, Simione….All are same Type and same positioned player.
Where is Di marias quality as a Left wing?? Di Maria Is Di maria. Garnacho bellow average, Gonzales lost his prime, Almada lack of playing time.
3. Another Major prblm is Full back. Tagliafico is aged, also there is no world class back up as a left back. Molina is season long Benched warmer. No World class Back up as a right Back.
