Lionel Messi scores twice, assists for Inter Miami in 4-2 win vs. Orlando City

Lionel Messi scored twice and had an assist for Inter Miami in their 4-2 win against Orlando City.

With Orlando City leading 1-0, Martín Ojeda scored to give Orlando City the 1-0 lead. With Orlando City leading 1-0, Mateo Silvetti’s effort from outside of the penalty area beat the goalkeeper to score Inter Miami’s first goal of the match.

At 2-1 for Orlando City, Messi received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and his effort went into the side of the goal and he scored to draw Inter Miami level.

Inter Miami would take a 3-2 lead with Telasco Segovia scoring and Lionel Messi having the assist. At 3-2, Inter Miami were awarded a free kick.

Messi would take the free kick and he would score his second goal of the match. The Argentine is now on 70 free kick goals.
