Argentina’s last 12 friendly match opponents

The Argentina national team have played 12 friendly matches since winning the World Cup and all have been against teams from outside of Europe.

Argentina will play Guatemala on March 31 after the cancellation of the Finalissima match against Spain. Lionel Scaloni’s team will play another team from outside of Europe as France in the World Cup final are the last European team to play against the Argentina national team.

Since winning the World Cup, Lionel Scaloni’s team have played 12 friendly matches. They have played against Panama, Curaçao, Australia, Indonesia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Angola.

Only one match for the month of March has been announced.

  1. I would argue that having them training together in Argentina is more beneficial than any cash-grab journey to the middle east
