Lionel Messi scored for Inter Miami in their 2-2 draw against Austin.
Messi got the first goal for Inter Miami in their new stadium, getting them the draw. With Austin leading 1-0, it was a cross into the penalty area which found Messi and the Argentine would head the ball and score to draw Inter Miami level.
The 38 year old is on five goals this season with Inter Miami. With Austin leading 2-1, Inter Miami were awarded a corner kick and the ball would fall to Luis Suárez who would score Inter Miami’s second goal of the match.
Rodrigo De Paul, Mateo Silvetti and Tadeo Allende would also start the match for Inter Miami.

I am a realist, and I understand that De Paul will likely be part of the World Cup squad. However, I believe he should not be in the starting eleven; he is quite far from that. Paredes, in my opinion, will be the anchor man, distributing passes. As for De Paul, I think Barco should take his spot.
I am afraid Barco doesn’t have such intense and extreme workrate like De Paul. I was thinking we should play Giuliano Simeone and Montiel on the right wing and an additional central midfielder who can free Enzo and Alexis from defending duty, may be Paredes, Palacios, or Perrone. Barco should be the backup for Enzo. De Paul must be going because he’s an important leader of the team, but he should be happy being a non-starter, like Paredes have been.
