Lautaro Martínez scored in Inter Milan’s 2-0 win against Lazio in the Coppa Italia final in Rome as Inter won their tenth Coppa Italia title.
It was Inter’s second trophy of the season after winning Serie A a little more than a week ago. Marcus Thuram scored the first goal before Lautaro added the second.
The title was Lautaro’s ninth with Inter since joining the club from Racing Club nearly eight years ago.
Inter’s season also had difficult moments. The club were eliminated from the Champions League by Bodø/Glimt, and Lautaro suffered a soleus injury in his right leg during the series. He missed more than a month before returning with two goals against Roma, but later suffered another setback and missed more time.
With two Serie A matches remaining, Lautaro has 17 league goals, the most in Italy this season.
