Thiago Almada could be leaving Atletico Madrid and River Plate want to sign the player. According to Sebastián Vignolo, the Argentine club are determined to sign the 25 year old but after the World Cup with Argentina.

Almada played 27 league games with Atletico Madrid, starting most of the matches on the bench.
